Random thoughts on my way to a Ph.D.
Not much…
Just working on homework tonight. Had one test today and have at least one more later this week, but they’ve been going pretty good so far so I hope to keep that up. Will probably be giving another presentation for Career Services soon. I think just on resume writing for that one. Beyond that, not much going on. Might volunteer at the local theater Wednesday night. I get free popcorn and to watch the movie afterward so it’s pretty cool. But, back to work now.
Everything’s been pretty hectic lately, but a lot of the activities I’m doing have been very enjoyable so it’s worth it. It seems like most everyone on campus and in town is pretty sick nowadays, but the University isn’t willing to close so we just have to deal I guess. I’m helping tonight with a presentation for Black History month so I’m looking forward to that one a lot. Really looking forward to the weekend and some time off though. I could definitely use the break.
Super Bowl Sunday
Just taking some time before the big game on campus. I’ve been doing a little homework, and just finished a meeting with the Association of Black Psychologists. We’re trying to get things together for a Black History presentation this Thursday and things are a bit rushed. We have started getting everything organized though; I just picked up the video from the library that we’re going to be using, some others are putting together stats and getting ice breakers ready for the presentation. It oughta work out pretty well I think.
After I’m done on campus, I’ll be heading back home real quick then over to Caleb’s to watch the game with some friends. It should be pretty worthwhile. Even if the game’s a blowout the commercials will hopefully be worth it.

Getting Started
Here’s my first post, hopefully of many but not sure if I’ll actually be good at keeping up with this thing. Everything’s been going well so far with classes and stress has been fairly manageable. We’ll see if that lasts… 
It’s late so I’m going to bed now. Hope this turns out well.
